MONITORING DURING CONSCIOUS SEDATION

The following monitoring is required for all patients who are being given conscious sedation

• Continuous Pulse oximetry
• 5/60 BP recordings (+ immediately before and after administration of medication)
• 3 lead ECG monitor (> 45 y.o. or history of cardiac disease)
