To avoid cognitive overload, I have deliberate limited the size of each article. These exist as a simple unit of information that have internally connected ideas. Later these units can then be combined with other units of information that form a larger picture and context. As the student masters each section, they can deepen their knowledge through the links and Further Reading sections (these can be supplemented from alternative sources according to your own learning needs). Ideally each page is a self contained document that can be easily digested in one learning episode. They can also act as electronic flashcards for revision purposes.
Over time I may decide to divide articles into smaller learning units that reflect the CoreMed philosophy of education, Less is More.
